The Ostrich Syndrome

All the arguments for and against cannabis and other so called 'soft' drugs. There is no such thing as a 'soft' drug anymore than there is a 'safe drug'. In reality, the reason to decriminalise an offence is simply that: to make something a non-offence. So that a crime cannot be committed and therefore nothing needs to be done about it. There is no crime. Instant reduction in crime figures.

Why not make burglary a non-offence. Legalise it. Decriminalise it.

We could have a totally crime free country and no need for a police 'service' if everything became legal. Crime could become obsolete.

Legalise murder. We could look forward to true anarchy. It's the logical end-game.

Head buried in the sand.
