Pyramid Comment

This journal takes an alternative view on current affairs and other subjects. The approach is likely to be contentious and is arguably speculative. Illegal Parking

Isn't illegal parking typical of double standards and hypocrisy? The pathetic battle (war?) between car owner and traffic warden as though they are a cat and a dog stalking each other. When a car is stolen, the owner wants the police to trace it etc, etc, etc. When it is illegally parked the owner sanctimoniously expects to be free to park at will. Anywhere, anytime without being bothered. 'Wheel clampers' would have no business if drivers were to park their cars sensibly and responsibly. Liken it to walking through a lion enclosure in a zoo. Or even in the wild. The chances of a predator making an attack are high. So, don't walk in such a place. On street parking without paying or parked on yellow lines without authorisation is one thing, but it's about time we had realistic fines for parking in a disabled parking bay unless covered by the proper permit. £100 fine should discourage it. Irritating, selfish drivers.
