Power Games

Nuclear power is being promoted as safe and environmentally friendly. In fact, the most dangerous and potentially lethal of them all and it makes mobile phones by comparison look quite (relatively) harmless. The nuclear debate is pathetic and without logic. Stupid and filled with misguided disinformation. Designed to misinform. The consequences are lethal and terrible.

Hiroshima. Nagasaki. Chernobyl.

It's not if, but when the next deliberate act, incident or accident happens, that should focus the mind. Nuclear weapons require nuclear power 'facilities' to manufacture fissionable materials. All the guff pandered to talk up the case of nuclear power is the most cynical act of all time to ever be foisted on a misinformed public. The military need nuclear facilities and clearly all the rhetorical sparring manoeuvres are governments 'playing' on peoples' fears.

Depending on the selling point, apparently valuable items are very dangerous if not handled correctly and responsibly: mobile phones. Remarkable? Not really. Actually quite predictable.

• Mobile phones can contain dangerous chemicals such as cadmium which is carcinogenic;
• They also can contain lead, nickel, mercury or lithium to name but a few dangerous metals;
• Lead can also cause both liver and neurological problems;
• Many of these elements cannot decompose;
• Lithium, if it comes into contact with water, can cause fires in landfills;
• Other health problems such as genetic or reproductive defects and nervous system problems can also be caused by these dangerous chemicals.

It is a reasonable attempt as an explanation why climate change has been so crudely pushed:

• The climate change issue can be solved by nuclear power: zero carbon dioxide and the specious connection?

Sounds rather a 'no-brainer', but DO NOT overlook that the fissionable material that becomes a nuclear bomb can ONLY be made in nuclear facilities. And the nuclear waste generated will exist for very effectively and very, very dangerously for thousands of years. It's like breeding highly dangerous animals in the wild, allowing them to roam loose amongst a growing population. What happens now or in the very near future, will exist to the end of global time. That could be any time between now and a thousand generations in the future. The ludicrous concept is that there will be such a distant time. The race is on to determine who can destroy the Earth first and soonest. Population growth should wreck any future regardless of how it may be 'powered'. It's already too BIG in 2009 and is expected to almost double (to 12-13 billion) by 2050.

This is the unadulterated madness of the real lunatic

Any long-term solutions make no case as they fall on deaf ears and the absolute blindness of a total idiot simply because they make no financial or political profit.

Tidal power is free and will happen as long as the Moon remains unchanged. But then, should the Moon be colonised and developed by mankind, the future will be a lot worse than the present. The decision makers, on our behalf, and without our consent, either informed or otherwise since it's not needed (it's so easy to spend others' money), have only a single goal in space travel: to control extraterrestrial (off Earth) resources. The Moon will be owned by some corporate body and then tidal power will be promoted. It's a financial certainty. The irony: breathtaking. The use of public money ($£trillions) to give access to 'private' corporate profit. Almost certainly driven by government which is only a body of 'private' individuals working together with the 'hive' mentallity, yet as individuals. The stupid, selfish 'what's in it for me' attitude of the brainless 'dead-head'.

The real terrorists are those who acquire inordinate amount of control through wealth. Having super wealth. The King Midas attitude.

Some human genes are already 'owned' by patents that are legally in force. The rather thick (small) end of a very, very wide wedge. In the (not-so-distant) future, the human organism will be owned 'legally'. An excess of 50% 'ownership' means slavery with a new definition being needed.

• A royalty will be payable to 'enjoy' life and defaulting will be the forfeiture of existence.

The peaceful and safe planet will never exist while politics are 'played' by governments and 'business'. A very lethal game. This includes religious politics being played. My god is more powerful than your god and my god seems to be any type of lethal weapon from a sword to a nuclear bomb, to who is the wealthiest. All devoid of sense.

It's about all the many different forms of the control of humans. Human slavery is crude, but progress will involve more sophisticated forms of...
