'Sympathetic' Newspapers

Original posting, August 2006

Press reports leaked to 'sympathetic' newspapers are designed to create the feeling of hopelessness. That nothing can be done.

Today (05.08.06) runs the front page story (Daily E*****s, again) "HIGHJACKERS TO GET OUR BENEFITS". Maybe. But it's typical of this newspaper's coverage. It sells, but it may also be more sinister.

  • To instill this feeling of hopelessness so that anything becomes 'acceptable' as the norm.
The British, or at least the English, are being softened up and conditioned by Blair's essentially Scottish cabinet.
