Alcohol offenders: drivers have their licence revoked

  • Not always successful, but is more often than not

Drink offenders: to be given an abstinence order

  • Supposed to be supervised! If drunk or intoxicated then lock them up for a while. Just a month (or even a week - DA) of forced abstinence will be pure Hell for the alcoholic
