Lowering The Threshold

Another way of describing 'lowers cholesterol' is that a food does not contribute to what you already have. If no additional cholesterol is consumed then any surplus will naturally and gradually be used up. Remember that this chemical is critical to good health. Without it we would die.

The recommended level is set to a low figure and makes millions of healthy people into patients who possibly 'need' cholesterol lowering drugs.
