Political 'Spin'

The very fact that the term 'spin' exists demonstrates that those who do this have all been rumbled. To attempt to turn the meaning of something around so that the illusion is of saying the opposite or at least something very different.

A paradigm shift is an alternative view of the same argument. Spinning is changing the argument in its entirety and being persuaded to see an 'alternative' attitude to things. Not the other side of the coin, but the same side. Though redesigned.
