Pyramid Comment

This journal takes an alternative view on current affairs and other subjects. The approach is likely to be contentious and is arguably speculative. The content of any article is also a reminder of the status of those affairs at that date. All comments have been disabled. Any and all unsolicited or unauthorised links are absolutely disavowed.

Controlling Web logs

Original posting, July 2006

Web logs (blogs) (Journals) will be regulated soon in an attempt to prevent blogs revealing important news that would otherwise not be reported in the conventional way. This can suggest the leanings of newspapers and their owners (paymasters).

'Blogs' force out into the open those topics that may otherwise remain hidden. It would appear that some government agency is responsible since government involvement is implicit in getting such sources quashed.

To bury

The number of blogs is huge by comparison to the number of worldwide newspaper publications. They will never, ever be silenced. Look at the situation in China. Containment of knowledge is almost impossible even if the authors risk severe punishments. Locked up for years and years for exposing the alleged unpalatable (to the Chinese government) truth.
