Biofuel Scam

Already methods of being 'creative' are being developed. Regardless of any speculation, the concept of the scam works by exploiting US agricultural subsidies and it is currently believed that up to 10% of biofuel exports are involved. The so called splash and dash scam appears that it has been developed over some while, but involves shipping biodiesel from Europe to the US where a dash of fuel is added. This allows 'traders' to claim 11p a litre of US subsidy for the entire cargo. It is then shipped back and sold below domestic prices, undercutting Europe's biofuel industry.

This 'trading' is not illegal.

It actually begs a question of who is behind the scheme. It's similar in principle to the argument between tax evasion and tax avoidance. Evasion has been made illegal, but avoidance exploits flaws in the system. Avoidance is legal whether it is morally justified or not. There is an element of society that seems to exist in those dismal regions of greyness where it is imagined advantage is there to be taken. There are businesses that regard success as being smart and exploiting loopholes. Being clever. Smart fools have always existed. When there's money to be made, morals are (often) absent and death can be 'created'. There are some who will attempt to make money whatever the true cost to the global society. That this may undermine any global warming issues is absolutely irrelevant. In theory, it can even be government that exploits its own rules.

Government is made up of individuals who are in a position to develop schemes by laying the foundations that are covered in flaws deliberately set as 'traps'. The trap falls directly through into the bank vault. When there is money to be made, such 'creation' will always fly in the face of survival. That element of society that is totally blind to surviving, will attempt to make money even if the result is their own death. The death of the pathetic creatures who imagine they are going to get rich. They potentially condemn to death every other living creature on Earth by simply their very short-term greed. They have the attitude and belief systems of a modern-day Hitler or Stalin.

Short-term is not recoverable, but signals the end of mankind and possibly the extermination of every creature on Earth. Clearly these groups are those who are too stupid to even consider the possibility of (personal) death and just do not accept that climate change is a reality (whatever the truth of its cause). As the price of crude oil continues to rise, currently more than $100 a barrel and alleged dwindling resources always attract a higher price (room for 'making ' money there - DA), the expensive biofuel is comparatively cheaper. Estimates suggest that 10% of the 1m tonnes of exported biodiesel is involved in the legal 'splash and dash' trade. This illusory cheapness masks the increase in starvation levels. It attempts to hide the true cost. But to the rescue comes the knight in shining black armour... GM and Monsanto. Biodiesel is only one fuel. Biofuels will imminently involve the ethanol-petrol mix at British pumps.

The scams are just beginning

The Earth will continue even when other life has ceased to exist. There is a high probability that life-forms that survive or evolve will assist the Earth in its recovery. The irony is that the 'smart' human becomes the architect of its own destruction. And it's all based on greed and death has no bias.
